Entweder reduzierte man die Spannung (egal ob Wechsel- oder Gleichspannung), dadurch reduzierte sich auch der Strom durch die Gl\u00fchwendel und die Lampe reduzierte die Helligkeit.<\/p>\n<p>Der zweite Weg geschah \u00fcber sogenannten Phasenan- oder abschnittsdimmer. Hierbei wird der Kurvenzug des Wechselstromsignals ver\u00e4ndert. Derart, dass nicht \u00fcber den gesamten Sinus Energie verf\u00fcgbar war. So wurde z.B. einfach eine Halbwelle abgeschnitten. Dies geschah \u00fcber die bekannten Wanddimmer mit Triac oder Mosfet.<\/p>\n<p>Eine dimmbare LED wird \u00fcber PWM gesteuert. PWM dient bereits zur Konstantstromregelung, und zus\u00e4tzlich kann \u00fcber diese auch der Strom bei einem Dimmsystem zur Helligkeitssteuerung eingestellt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Helligkeit der LEDs l\u00e4sst sich schaltungstechnisch entweder linear (gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Ver\u00e4nderung des Stromes) oder \u00fcber PWM \u00e4ndern. PWM steht f\u00fcr Pulsweitenmodulation.<\/p>\n<p>Hierbei wird der Strom laufend ein- und ausgeschalten. Das Verh\u00e4ltnis von An zu Aus, sprich die Pulsweite, bestimmt die Helligkeit und wir erhalten eine Dimmfunktion.<\/p>\n<p>Die meisten LED-Treiber verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber einen zus\u00e4tzlichen Eingang zur Helligkeitssteuerung.<\/p>\n<h3>Verbreitetete Systeme zum Dimmen sind u.a.:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>DALI<\/li>\n<li>Triac Dimmung<\/li>\n<li>Push Button Funktion<\/li>\n<li>1..10V<\/li>\n<li>LEDOTRON<\/li>\n<li>DMX<\/li>\n<li>Nicht standardisierte Steuerungsprotokolle via Funk\/Infrarot oder Leitungen.<br \/>\n(Meist Eigenentwicklungen versch. Hersteller, vorwiegend aus dem asiatischen Markt)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Zu erw\u00e4hnen ist noch, dass wir von einer direkten Ansteuerung von LEDs sprechen. H\u00e4ufig werden dimmbare LED-Lampen angeboten. Hierbei handelt es sich meist um einen Kompromiss mit instabiler Dimmung.
