The innovative light measurement system Mavomaster and Mavoprobes provides absolute flexibility and security for all applications and thus takes light measurements to a new level. With the MAVOMASTER - MAVOPROBE, efficient testing and certification of light in a wide variety of applications is possible.


The universal MAVOMASTER basic device can be easily and flexibly combined with the various available measuring probes, the MAVOPROBES. The MAVOMASTER (item number M525G) is a compact operating and display device with 8 GB measured value memory and US 2.0 interface as well as Micro-B socket. A 1.5V mignon, type AA battery is used, which guarantees up to 16 hours of continuous Operation.

The measuring probes - MAVOPROBES

With the four classified MAVOPROBES LUX 5032 B, LUX 5032 C, MONITOR and LUX / UVA, illuminance, luminance as well as illuminance and irradiance UV-A 365nm can be measured. Each measuring probe has its own intelligence, can be calibrated individually and delivers its measured values directly to the MAVOMASTER via a serial interface. When using the USB adapter, the MAVOPROBE can be connected directly to a PC or USB hub and single or multi-channel measuring systems can be set up. The power is supplied via the USB interface, the protocol of which is disclosed.

MAVOPROBE LUX 5032 B / C - high precision illuminance probe

MAVOPROBE LUX 5032 are available in class B or class C illuminance. Both variants have both V(λ) adjustment and cosine correction and reliably measure the illuminance of daylight and all artificial light sources. No accessories are required, even in the strongest daylight or headlights.

MAVOPROBE MONITOR - high-precision luminance probe

MAVOPROBE MONITOR for contact measurement is classified in class B according to. It measures the brightness effect of a luminous surface in candela per square meter (cd/m²) or foot-lambert (fL). The excellent adaptation to the spectral brightness perception of the human eye V(λ) with the small deviation of f1' < 3% is significantly better than the requirement of the standard.

MAVOPROBE LUX / UVA - high-precision combination probe for non-destructive testing

MAVOPROBE LUX / UVA is classified in class B for illuminance and the measurement of UV-A irradiance corresponds to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 3059 and ASTM E2297 for measuring devices for fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle testing.

The advantages of MAVOMASTER - MAVOPROBE:

  • Universal use: Each probe can be operated with a MAVOMASTER as a self-sufficient measuring device. Alternatively, it can be used inexpensively with an optional USB adapter in single or multi-channel measurement Systems.

  • Individual system integration and sustainable system concept: Through open interface protocols for device control and data communication.
  • Simple continuous operation: due to power supply of the individual components via USB interface.
  • Customized cable length: With optional 3 m, 5 m, 10 m extensions for the measuring probes.
