PicoDot Edition: Wood - contactless switch for EnOcean® standard - refined in wood 

By simply "wiping" or "approaching" with your hand within a range of approx. 15cm distance, the PicoDot Edition:Wood controls all kinds of devices and consumers connected via EnOcean® actuators. Learn the EnOcean® products to work together within seconds and place the clever, mobile wireless switch at a location of your choice. Now you can, for example, connect your floor lamp to an EnOcean-enabled, switchable socket from anywhere within the wireless range of approx. Switch on 30 meters, dim and switch off again. 

Energy-saving 

In purely mathematical terms, the battery would save approx. for 70 years. Since today's batteries are designed for approx. 20 to 25 years have reached their physical life span, the PicoDot Edition:Holz in this application works maintenance-free within this time. 

Independent of ambient light

You can operate the PicoDot Edition:Wood , which optically detects "wiping" or "approaching" by hand, even in direct sunlight, because the sophisticated technology compensates for extraneous light up to 150,000 lux, which is 1. 5 times the amount of sunlight. 

Self-calibrating 

The optical system calibrates itself automatically. If you place the PicoDot Edition:Wood so that fixed objects remain in the detection area, they will be calibrated out after 10 seconds and you can use the PicoDot Edition:Wood as usual. Dust and other "layers" that transmit infrared light are also calibrated.

Hygienic

Some bacteria can be found on standard light switches in public or private rooms. By switching without any contact, the switches from Picosens bring a big adventage. Especially on current situation with COVID-19, the sensors help to contain the spread of the virus.
