Color Temperature and Light Quality

The KITEO K-Fabius recessed downlight is available in two color temperatures: 3,000 K for warm white, comfortable lighting and 4,000 K for neutral white, energizing illumination. Its CRI of 97 meets the highest standards for natural color reproduction, making it especially suitable for environments where accurate color rendering contributes to well-being, comfort, and concentration.

Installation and Ceiling Cut-Out

The required ceiling cut-out is 77 mm, allowing for a compact installation. The recessed luminaire is designed according to Protection Class II and does not require a protective earth connection. The integrated, non-replaceable LED light source is factory-installed and ensures optimum lighting performance throughout its service life.

Control and Dimming

As standard, the KITEO K-Fabius recessed downlight is non-dimmable and switched via a Type B16 circuit breaker. However, advanced control options are available, including DALI for professional lighting management systems, Casambi for wireless lighting control, and 1–10 V as well as push dimming for seamless integration into existing installations.

Operating Conditions and Reliability

The luminaire is designed for ambient temperatures between 10 °C and 35 °C and operates on a supply voltage of 220 V to 240 V. The rated lifetime of 60,500 hours (L80/B10) means that after this period the luminaire still provides at least 80% of its original luminous output, significantly reducing maintenance requirements and operating costs.
