24V transformers or 24V LED transformers differ in the standard requirements for LED modules (DIN61347). Our portfolio fulfills these.
Common use is the operation of LED strips / LED ribbons and this may be dimmable. (via DALI, 1-10, phase dimming/Triac, or wireless solutions such as Casambi).

Fields of application of 24V LED transformers
24V DC power supplies are mainly used for LED strips/LED light strips or LED modules with 24V constant voltage input (24V DC).
But also many PWM dimming actuators, which are connected between the 24V LED strip and the 24V power supply, are designed for this purpose.
The following interrelationships must be taken into account:
- The selection of the transformer power is calculated from the maximum current multiplied by 24 volts. A small reserve (5-10%) is often included.
- The voltage losses on the lines and on the LED strip are lower due to the usually lower currents at 24 V than at e.g. 12V voltage. Stripe lengths can be longer and thus the number of feeds can be designed smaller.
- Dimming can be realized either via an available dimming input (DALI, 1-10V), Casambi Bluetooth radio, or phase cut-off dimming, depending on the design.
Alternatively, an LED PWM dimmer can be connected between the transformer and the LED module.
