Preselection of 24V LED Transformers 

The most frequent use of these 24V transformers in the electronic version (called ECG) is the operation of LED spots as a replacement for halogen spotlights. In most cases, the 24V halogen transformer can no longer be used for LED spotlights due to the necessary minimum load. Only special LED transformers provide the 24V DC or AC voltage for the LED light sources, even at very low power levels.

Dimmable LED Transformers

If dimmability is to be maintained, all three components must fit together. The LED lamp must be dimmable, the 24V LED transformer must also be suitable for dimming, as well as compatible with the phase angle dimmer. Since there is no standardized interface here, it is worth taking a look at the compatibility lists to avoid flickering, for example.
