PI-LED Technology with Daylight Spectrum

The K-SPOT UGR utilizes KITEO's proprietary PI-LED technology, which replicates the natural sunlight spectrum throughout the day – without UV or infrared radiation. The microcontroller-controlled LED management with factory calibration and temperature compensation ensures constant chromaticity stability across the entire color temperature range from 1,800 K to 16,000 K.

Glare Protection UGR < 19

The Unified Glare Rating (UGR) below 19 meets the highest requirements of DIN EN 12464-1 for low-glare lighting. This is particularly critical in office environments and educational institutions to minimize eye strain and promote concentration.

Smart Control and Dimming

The K-SPOT UGR is optionally equipped with ZigBee 3.0 or DALI DT8. ZigBee enables wireless control with NeoLink/Casambi compatibility, while DALI DT8 offers standardized dimming with Over-The-Bus updates. Modular Dimming and Camera-Ready functionality support professional production and event technology.

Thermal Management and Operational Safety

The luminaire continuously monitors operating temperature and automatically activates a thermal protection dimming function if critical values are exceeded. This ensures reliable long-term operation and protects the LED modules from thermal overload.

Flexible Installation and Accessories

Tool-free mounting via two springs adapts to ceiling thicknesses from 1 to 15 mm. For humid or dust-laden environments, an optional IP54 protective cover is available in White, Black, or Brushed Aluminum (article numbers K-Z1000270, K-Z1000271, K-Z1000272).
