Flexible Installation Options for Different Ceiling Types

The K-AERA FLAT can be installed as a lay-in luminaire (100 mm installation depth) or with a recessed mounting frame (200 mm installation depth). Available grid dimensions are 625×625 mm, 595×595 mm and 1195×295 mm. Additional grid dimensions (600×600 mm) and alternative mounting methods such as wire suspension or surface-mount frames are available on request.

Optimised Optics for Low-Glare Illumination

The microprismatic optic provides uniform light distribution without hotspots or shadow areas. The UGR value below 19 complies with DIN EN 12464-1 requirements for computer workstations and helps prevent glare from direct or reflected light sources.

Long Service Life and Reduced Maintenance

With a lifetime of 70,000 h (L80/B10) and an operating time of 8 hours per day, maintenance intervals can exceed 8 years. The LED light source is non-replaceable, meaning the complete luminaire is replaced at the end of its service life, simplifying planning and inventory management.

Energy Efficiency and Operational Reliability

With 29 W power consumption and 3,800 lm luminous flux, the K-AERA FLAT delivers efficient illumination. The 230 VAC operating voltage allows direct mains connection without additional control gear. The permitted operating temperature range of 10 °C to 35 °C ensures reliable operation in climate-controlled indoor environments.

Available in two colour temperatures: 3,000 K (warm white) and 4,000 K (neutral white). Standard grid dimensions: 625×625 mm, 595×595 mm and 1195×295 mm.
